I’m continuing my series of “Build and Play” videos where I check HSREPLAY.NET for a deck with a good winning percentage, preferably in a class I haven’t played lately. I then build the deck or as close as my collection will allow, and see how it fairs. This is a free-to-play account and I refuse to buy cards, so I can’t always get very close to the desired deck. But tonight I lucked out.
Today’s target is a Treant druid deck with a very impressive 73% win rate. I would only need about 300 dust to craft the two cards I’m missing, which are two Cactus Constructs and… you know what? I’ve already forgotten, but I’ll put the link up above.
I was a little bit skeptical of some of the cards on the list, including Blood Treant and Soul of the Forest. But HSReplay.net hasn’t steered me wrong yet, so I stick to the script.
Right out of the gate this deck delivered a quick win. In fact, most of the games resulted in fairly quick wins. I lost track of how many in the middle, but remembered that the program tracks that for me and got back on track. By the end of the night, I’d won nine out of ten games, and yet, I realized I hadn’t had any fun. If your only goal is to win, this is a great deck, but it lacked depth of gameplay and left me somehow unsatisfied.
